  1. How do I prepare for class ?
    • Come fully hydrated - drink lots of water before and after class
    • Come on an empty stomach-no food 2-3 hours before class
  2. What should I wear to class ?
    • Very light workout clothing (shorts and tank top or sports bra for women, shorts and optional T-shirt for men)
    • No baggy pants or sweats, please! (they just get in the way)
    • No excessive jewelry
    • Please leave valuables at home

  4. What should I bring and what should I expect from my first Bikram Yoga Class ?
    • Bring a yoga mat, a large towel and a bottle of water (we rent mats and towels for $2 each, we also sell water)
    • We encourage you to buy your own yoga mat, and keep it clean by airing it out and spraying with tea tree oil and water mat cleaner.
    • Bring a change of clothes, it gets sweaty in the studio and you don't want to leave with a chill!
    • Expect encouragement from all those around you (we've all been to our first Bikram class)
    • Expect all ages, and all body types (it's not only for skinny, flexible people) Remember yoga makes you more flexible and help you loss weight
    • Expect to work hard, have fun, sweat, smile, laugh and discover an entirely new energy within yourself
    • The class is slow paced so you can follow along, but not so slow that we lose your attention
    • Each class follows the same sequence of 26 postures, and 2 breathing exercises so you see real improvement fast, yet no class ever feels the same
    • Beginner to advanced students practice side by side, and remember you can hit the back row until your ready to move up
    • At first the heat may be hard to deal with, but within the first week your body will adapt, and you'll grow to love the healing, and detoxifying powers of the heat
    • Since Bikram Yoga is a form of moving mediation, expect to be centered, and calm as we gracefully guided through a powerful, safe, and effective practice each time you enter the room.
    • Our certified instructor have nothing but love to give, and we are also willing to answer any questions you may have

We rent yoga mats, and towels for $2 each/class. We also sell water as well as yoga clothing and accessories.
